– For those who are in Venice far from Piazzale Roma or in the islands, they can consider arriving to Chioggia by reaching the Lido and then Chioggia by vaporetto.

Chioggia can then be reached from Venice with 1 bus line from Piazzale Roma and by vaporetto with the day and night ACTV lines.

To get to Chioggia there is a change of vaporetto in Piazzale Santa Maria Elisabetta del Lido.

From Piazzale Roma and from the Station by vaporetto to Lido di Venezia you arrive with 3 daytime vaporetto ACTV lines. Certainly the fastest solution is line 6 but line 1 allows a complete journey of all the stops along the Grand Canal. From Lido di Venezia you must then take line 11 which reaches Chioggia in 70 minutes.

– From Santa Maria del Mare to Pellestrina Cimitero with bus line 11.
– From Pellestrina Cimitero to Chioggia with vaporetto line 11 and vice versa (it stops on Ca' Roman only on demand; booking boat passage 20' before at the toll-free number 800845065).

Vehicles that can be embarked for a fee on Line 11 Pellestrina ⟷ Chioggia: bicycles and motorbikes can be embarked, after full boarding of passengers, in a limited number and always at the discretion of the captain.
