Alilaguna is the public service that connects the Marco Polo Airport in Tessera with the main landing areas of Venice, the Port of Tronchetto and the islands of the lagoon.



In Venice the Blue Line of the public transport service Alilaguna is a fixed line that operates a passenger transport service from the Airport to the historic center of Venice and to the Cruise Terminal.

Blue Line Alilaguna Route Venice

From the Airport the boat heads towards Murano from where it reaches the Fondamente Nove. Here it turns to the left to the Hospital, the Bacini, the Certosa reaching the Lido. Then return to Venice via the Arsenale and Saint Mark. Having taken the Giudecca Canal it stops at the Zattere and the Stucky and ends the race at the Tronchetto Cruise Terminal.

In Venice, the Orange Line of the Alilaguna public transport service is a fixed line that operates a passenger transport service from the Airport to the historic center of Venice, passing and ending the race on the Grand Canal near Piazza San Marco.

From the Airport the boat heads towards Venice from where it stops at Fondamente Nove and it reaches the Madonna dell'Orto stop. Here it veers to the right into the Canal de Canaregio, stopping at the Guglie and reaching the Grand Canal where it turns to the left towards Rialto. In the Grand Canal it stops at San Stae, Rialto, Sant'Angelo, Ca' Rezzonico, Giglio.

In Venice, the Green Line of the Alilaguna public transport service is a seasonal line that provides excursion service to the islands of Murano, Burano and Torcello with multilingual guides on board.
Ferrovia, Giudecca Stucky, Zattere, Saint Mark's Giardinetti and Lido departures are scheduled.

Fares: € 30 each person. Minimum 4 participants are required.

History of Alilaguna Venice

A brief history of the public service Alilaguna from the beginning until nowadays.

Alilaguna was founded in 1999, by the hand of entrepreneurs linked to tourism, becoming the first private company for public transport operating on the Red line from Marco Polo to Murano, the Lido of Venice and Piazza San Marco.
The following year the Zattere stop is added and the Blue Line is added, connecting the airport to Fondamente Nuove, Santa Giustina and San Marco.
Currently there are 4 lines, one of which is seasonal in the months of maximum tourist influx in Venice.
