Una storia di famiglia - Palazzo Fortuny Museum - Campo San Beneto - VeniceRunning exhibition from May 11th to November 24th 2019 At Palazzo Fortuny, an exhibition, opened in conjunction with the 58th Biennale Arte, dedicates an exhibition space for the first time to both Mariano Fortuny, a multifaceted Spanish artist naturalized in Venice, and to his father Mariano Fortuny y Marsal, one of the greatest painters of the 19th century Spanish. The Biennale was one of the stages of Mariano Fortuny while he was alive and, shortly after his death, he dedicated a room to the two Fortunys in the Spanish Pavilion.
