But starting from a few days before the opening there will be the various openings and side events that always suddenly animate the Venetian artistic life. The title of the 58 edition of the Biennale d'Arte is May You Live In Interesting Times. 79 artists are invited to exhibit at the 58th Venice Biennale of Art, with a prevalence of women. Among them the 2 Italians Ludovica Carbotta and Lara Favaretto. The first will make a site-specific work in Forte Marghera, inside the building known as the Austrian Powder Mill. Croce 2258 Web: Croatian Pavilion Igor Grubic's project for the Biennale, Traces of Disappearing in Three Acts (2006-2019), is already thirteen years old and consists of three related photographic essays and an animated film, set in a specially designed staging. The project began in 2006 when the artist began to document the post-war transitory reality in Croatia, in particular the fundamental transition from socialism to capitalism, from a central, declared and planned economy to a free market economy.
