 Mestre Venice Railway StationThe Venezia Mestre Railway Station is located at the end of the Via Piave road artery and about 11 Km away from Venice. Trains departing for the capital of the lagoon periodically leave every few minutes and connect the main city of the mainland with Venice in about 10 minutes journey. The arrival in Venice Saint Lucia is preceded by the evocative transit on the railway bridge built by the Austrians during the 800. From here pass all the trains with destination Venice and pass trains that connect Mestre and Venice with the main Italian and European destinations: - every 2 hours a train leaves for Florence, Rome and Naples. - every two hours a train to Milan and Turin. - every three hours a train to Genoa, the Ligurian Riviera and France. - daily trains to France, Austria, Switzerland, Czechoslovakia.
