Cà Pesaro Museum:A worthy of visiting collection of oriental art (japanese, chinese, indonesian) owned by Enrico di Borbone who collected all this works travelling in the eastern countries.
The japanese section shines in particular way for the presence of blades. With the same ticket its' possible to visit 2 museums, on the 1st floor the contemporary art museum with works by Klimt (famous Salomè is kept here), Klee, Kandinsky.

S. Rocco: this School was built in 1515 following the project of Bon and Scarpagnino, and soon became famous becouse of the Tintoretto's paintings. Tintoretto in fact worked here for more than twenty years representing many masterpieces of Venetian painting between the Renaissance and Mannerism.
Besides, here are kept works by Giorgione, Tiziano and Tiepolo.

Santa Maria Gloriosa dei Frari: surely is one of the biggest church in Venice and an important Franciscan Architecture's example as well. Francescan friars got the land in 1250 by doge Jacopo Tiepolo and immediately built a little church with an opposite orientation compare to the modern one. Public transportations: Service of public bus ACTV or ATVO for Piazzale Roma: ACTV - Tickets 0.77 Euro ATVO 2.58 Euro valid for one single journey. It will take roughly 30 minutes. From Piazzale Roma you can easily reach Palazzo Odoni on foot within 4 minutes. Just walk the Fondamenta Minotto for 200 mts and you'll see our sign on the door at number 151.
Private transportations: Private car-taxi. Price about L 13 EURO (22.5 USD; 8 GBP). Then take public boat reported above.

Public transportations: ALILAGUNA (www.alilaguna.com) is the direct passenger waterbus service between Venice and its airport.
