Locanda is situated in a typical Venetian building;
dating back to the end of the 1700’s, completely
renovated and carefully thought out, to combine taste and reflect
the outlook of modern visitors to the City. It’s situated
in the historical centre of the City, in the
interior of the Sestiere (District) of San Marco,
and close to Campo Santo Stefano and the Accademia Bridge;
only two steps away from the famous seat of Palazzo Grassi.
The area is tranquil and there’s a family atmosphere. A
typical door leading to water faces onto a small “rio”
canal lane, in front of the Grande Canal, where
visitors can utilize the water taxi service if needed, to reach
any points of interest. The interior and furnishings are wonderfully
refined and in the Venetian style. There are many rich wall hangings
and wall paper welcoming guests in the reception area and the
reading room, where breakfast is served. The Personnel will be
happy to introduce guests to the discovery of less visited or
hidden visual treasures to visit in Venice.
