Sammlung von Kunstwerken aus dem 20. Jahrhundert, zusammengestellt von Peggy Guggenheim, die hier mehr als dreissig Jahre lebte. Das Guggenheim-Museum ist eines der wichtigsten Museen Italiens für Kunst aus der ersten Hälfte des 20. Jahrhunderts. Aufbewahrt sind hier Werke von Picasso, Braque, Duchamp, Mirò, Kandinskij oder Pollock. Italien ist gut vertreten durch Severini, Balla und Fontana.

Das ständige Museum der Fondazione Querini Stampalia entstand durch die Leidenschaft für Kunst der Patrizierfamilie Querini, die sämtliche hier ausgestellten Werke ankaufte. Hier bietet sich die Gelegenheit Gemälde von Bellini, Pietro Longhi, Gabriele Bella und vieler anderer zu bewundern. Bemerkenswert sind auch die originalen aus der Zeit der Republik stammenden Ausstattungsgegenstände und Möbel.

Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa always operated in Venice in helping young artists to find popularity, even providing working spaces and funds. When duchess Felicita Bevilacqua La Masa died, the entire Palace facing the Grand Canal, Cà Pesaro, was left as a gift to the city with the purpose of promoting those young artists that normally are excluded in the major exhibitions. This tradition is still brought forward nowadays as Fondazione Bevilacqua La Masa put at disposal of young artists spaces situated on the top floor of ancient Palazzo Carminati. Many famous artists of twentieth century as Emilio Vedova, De Pisis and Tancredi spent some of their days here improving their skill on modern art.

Vittorio Cini ist nicht nur der Begründer der nach ihm benannten Kulturstiftung auf San Giorgio Maggiore, sondern er hinterließ auch eine prachtvolle Kunstsammlung, die sich besonders aus Gemälden aus dem 14. und 15. Jahrhundert zusammensetzt.
