CHURCH OF S. TOMMASO (TOMA') - Sestiere of San Polo, XI sec.

Modern classical facade of S. Tommaso church is the result of F. Bognolo's reconstruction in 1742 that changed the previous building based on a B. Longhena's project that surely had more interesting achitectonic look.
Work most impressive kept in the interior is the ceiling representing Martirio di San Tommaso frescoed by J. Guarana who collaborated with G. Moretti for perspective problems.
