CHURCH OF SANTA MARIA DEI DERELITTI (XVI sec.)
Facade has been built on a project by architect Baldassarre Longhena with the funds of a private citizen whom was remembered with a bas-relief placed in the centre of the facade. Many sculptures representing the Virtù and the Telamoni are placed to hold up the capitals of the second order.
This church has a unic nave and internally keeps many paintings of artists who worked in Venice from the end of seventeenth and the beginning of eighteenth century: Andrea Celesti, Nicola Grassi, Gian Battista Tiepolo who signed the Sacrificio di Abramo.
