CHURCH OF SAN LIO - Sestiere of Castello, IX sec. -

San Lio's church was dedicated to pope Papa Leone X, lived in sixteenth century.
The bulding was rebuilt in that age and restored in the end of 1700.
Church has a plan with a unic nave with a major chapel and two laterals. Inside, on the altar, it's possible to admire Cristo morto sostenuto da Angeli e tre santi, a work by Jacopo Palma il Giovane. The ceiling was painted by Tiepolo.
