CHURCH OF S. MARCUOLA

Facade, nowadays unfinished, was built by architect G. Massari who had obviously thought to cover all the surface with white marble. Interior has one nave. Presbiteryhas a squared plan and an altar on wich rests two statues of
Saints Fortunato and Ermagora - to whom the church is dedicated - maded by G. M. Morleiter.
On the lateral walls are placed two Tintoretto: L'Ultima Cena (Last Dinner) , in the past wrongly considered a copy and La lavanda dei piedi (Feet Washing) that is really a copy of the same painting maded for this church and later gone in the Royal Spanish collection.
