Wide Venitian apartment of about 90 sq. metres,
completely restored and located on the first floor of a palace
near Campo S. Giacomo da l'Orio. With a a short walk both Rialto
and the Basilica dei Frari are reachable as well as Grand Canal,
the water way of Venice. From a door on the ground floor you'll
enter in a nice little columned court where
a stone staircase leads upstairs. The apartment has an imposing
salon of 70 sq. metres with frescoed wall,
high and sunny gothic windows, Venetian marble floors
and 4.5 metres ceilings high. Furnishibgs of the livingroom
is partly in antique Venetian style with two
big Murano chandeliers, an antique dining-table
with six chairs, an eighteenth-century bureau, an oval mirror,
a chest, a piece of furniture of the ‘Thirties, two statues,
some antique paintings, a large sofa with two
armchairs and a modern bookcase with TV and
videorecorder. The rest of the apartment is furnished in a modern
style. The kitchen, with Italian cotto tiled
floor, is provided with a fridge and a freezer, an oven, four
gas hobs and a washing machine. The bathroom has a tub with
a shower attachment. The sleeping area has parquet floors:
double bedroom has two night-tables, a wardrobe,
an armchair and nice wicker big baskets; the twin bedroom
is furnished with two single beds with a night-table, two low
wardrobes and a two-doors wardrobe.

ARRIVING
BY CAR, TRAIN, BUS: Whether you are arriving
at Piazzale Roma, car terminal, or from Railway Station,
please take public boat n°. 42 and
get off at Riva de Biasio. To reach the apartment is short
walk.
ARRIVING BY PLANE: The Marco Polo international
airport is at Tessera within the Venetian mainland. Menfgo
Flat may be reached by a water taxi boat, or by bus reaching
the terminal Piazzale Roma.
Then please take public boat n°. 42
and get off at Riva de Biasio. To reach the apartment

Saint
Mark's Basilica: beautiful Venetian church with 5 domes looks like the
ancient church of Costantinopoli. It was embellished during the early centuries
of the last millennium and particulary in the thirtheenth century when Venice
dominated Mediterranean culture and economy.
Rialto
Bridge: Till thirteenth century Venice was built on a groups of islands
separated by channels and to get on the other side were laid down wood
boards. Later many bridges were built in Venice but no one of them joining
the Gran Canal's banks.

D'Oro: Once upon the time was considered one of the most sumptuous buildings
of Venice for the beautiful colours of its facade, Ca' D'oro knew an unlucky
period becouse of the several restorations made during five centuries of
history, till baron Giorgio Franchetti bought it at the end of XIX century
to create an art gallery.
